A spokesman for the presidency of the French Republic clarified today that President Emmanuel Macron will not visit Washington with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to meet US President Donald Trump, denying reports by prestigious news agencies.
According to the Elysee, a similar visit is not being considered nor planned in the near future.
The government spokeswoman had previously told reporters, after a cabinet meeting, that the possibility of such a visit by the French president, along with his Ukrainian counterpart and the British prime minister, was "being considered" and that it could happen "in the short term."
