The United Kingdom will not sign US President Donald Trump's so-called "Peace Board" treaty.
According to British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper, this decision comes due to concerns about Russian involvement.
Speaking to the BBC from the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Cooper said that Britain supports Trump's 20-point plan for Gaza and that her country wants to play a role in the second phase of the peace process for the region.
However, when asked if Britain would join the "Board of Peace", Cooper said: "There is a lot of work to be done. We will not be a signatory today because it is a legal treaty that raises wider issues and we also have concerns about the involvement of Putin, who talks about peace, while we have not yet seen any sign that he is committed to peace in Ukraine."
