Bosnian media have reported that during the commemoration of the anniversary of the Storm in Prijedor, attended by officials of Serbia and Republika Srpska, during Milorad Dodik's speech, a photograph from 1995 appeared showing a Bosnian woman and not a Serb.
On Dodik's Twitter account, this photo was published along with other photos where behind him in the background is a photo of a woman with a child in her lap who are not Serbs.
According to Vijesti.ba, that photo was first published by AFP, the author of the photo is Joel Robin and it was taken on July 26, 1995, after the fall of Zhepa.
The photo was taken when Bosnian civilians, in a UN convoy, were passing a checkpoint near Kladnje, after being evacuated from Zhepa.
Historian Adem Mehmedovic writes that one of the photos used to represent Operation Storm is actually a photo from July 1995 after the fall of Zhepa.
According to the information in the photo, Sabina Mujkic is from Zhepa, Mehmedovic wrote.
That it was Sabina Mujkiç was also confirmed by her daughter Nermina Mujkiç Gusho, who wrote on Facebook about this issue.
"Hello, the photo was created by the forced emigration of Zhepljak! The lady sitting is my mother and me!" Oslobodenje wrote.
Vijesti.ba announced that Dodik was not the only one who did this. The same photo was used by the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, on his official Instagram account.
