The government of North Macedonia is preparing a letter to be sent to the EU, with new proposals for the continuation of negotiations, while its path to European integration was separated from that of Albania.
Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said that the letter addressed to the EU is made to have a clearer picture of where they are and what they can do to advance the negotiations.
" The letter to the EU is being prepared, before I send it I want to have a clearer picture of where we are and what we can do. I would disagree that there is no optimism. I would not agree with the position that there is no understanding of our positions", said Mickoski.
We remind you that the process of North Macedonia's integration into the European Union is being hindered due to the stalemate with Bulgaria. Meanwhile, Albania will open its first chapters on October 15.
