The "Global Fire Power" platform has recently published the list of the most powerful armies in the world for 2024, where there are some changes in terms of ranking due to the war in Ukraine as well as the tensions between Taiwan and China.
In the top ten, there are almost no changes except for the fall of France to the 11th place and the rise of Turkey to the 8th place, while everything has been reversed in the following list, where Ukraine is now in a good position due to the great help from the West. We also see a strong increase in Germany after the increase in the defense budget by the government a year ago.
The "Global Fire Power" platform makes the annual ranking of the most powerful armies in the world based on a multitude of factors such as technology; number of soldiers; infrastructure; underground assets; population, etc.
