US President Donald Trump declared that the United States had won the war against Iran. During a speech to his supporters in Kentucky, Trump vowed that the conflict had ended too soon and that the outcome had been decided from the very beginning.
"We won. Let me tell you, we won. I know you don't like to say you won too soon, but we won. In the first hour, it was over ," Trump said during his speech.
During the rally, the US president also spoke about the name of the military operation that he said was proposed by officials. He asked the crowd if they thought "Operation Epic Fury" was a good name.
"Is that a great name? Well, it's only good if it wins," he said.
Trump humorously added that at the time names for the operation were being discussed, he had no idea, until the name "Operation Epic Fury" was suggested to him, which he mentioned to supporters during a speech in Kentucky.
