Netanyahu does not back down, orders full occupation of Gaza!

Netanyahu has given a clear ultimatum to the Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), that if he does not implement the plan, he must resign.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has officially confirmed the decision to launch a full-scale invasion of the Gaza Strip, including military operations in areas where Israeli hostages are being held. The announcement comes after months of high tensions and failed ceasefire negotiations, marking a new escalation in the long-running Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The Prime Minister's Office announced that Netanyahu has given a clear ultimatum to the Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), that if he does not implement the plan, he must resign.

"If this does not suit you, then you should resign ," the announcement said.

This direct message shows Netanyahu's determination to pursue an aggressive military approach, regardless of the possible consequences. According to inside sources, the decision follows internal tensions between Israel's political and military leadership, with some senior military officials expressing reservations about the consequences of such a large-scale operation in a densely populated area.

Hamas has demanded hundreds of trucks of humanitarian aid enter the Gaza Strip as a condition for resuming negotiations, at a time when the humanitarian situation in Gaza has deteriorated significantly, with UN reports showing severe shortages of food, water and medicine. Over the weekend, Hamas released a series of shocking videos showing emaciated Israeli hostages, claiming they were starving due to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

In a statement, Hamas accused Israel of blocking aid and worsening living conditions in the enclave, calling the situation “a deliberate catastrophe.” The videos have increased pressure on the Israeli government to act quickly to free the hostages, but appear to have strengthened Netanyahu’s resolve for a military solution.

The announcement of the Gaza invasion has caused immediate reactions inside and outside Israel. Domestically, the Israeli opposition has criticized Netanyahu for his approach, accusing him of “endangering the lives of the hostages” and “causing a humanitarian catastrophe.” Opposition parties, such as Yesh Atid, have called for the government to return to the negotiating table and avoid a military operation that could lead to massive loss of life.

Internationally, the United Nations and humanitarian organizations have expressed deep concern about the consequences of a full-scale occupation of Gaza. The UN has warned that such an operation could lead to an “unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe,” given Gaza’s dense population and lack of infrastructure to cope with a new crisis.

On the other hand, Hamas has stated that any military operation in Gaza will be met with "fierce resistance" and has threatened consequences for the hostages held.

The situation in the Gaza Strip is already extremely dire. According to recent reports, more than 70% of Gaza's population depends on humanitarian aid for survival. The ongoing blockade and repeated conflicts have destroyed infrastructure, leaving millions of people without access to basic services such as electricity and drinking water. Videos released by Hamas, despite their propaganda purposes, have highlighted the plight of hostages and civilians in Gaza, adding to international pressure for an immediate solution.

Egypt and Qatar have renewed their offers to mediate, but a lack of trust between the parties makes it difficult to reach an agreement. The EU has called for an immediate ceasefire and promised additional aid to Gaza, but has warned that without a political solution, any aid will be insufficient.

For now, the world is anxiously watching developments as Gaza prepares for a new and dangerous chapter in its long conflict.
