American voters will cast their votes to choose the next president of the USA, as the Democratic vice president Kamala Harris and the Republican Donald Trump have concluded the campaign by making clear their electoral approach and program.
But what are their commitments and approaches on the main topics:
inflation
Harris claims that her first priority since taking office is to try to reduce the cost of the food basket and housing for working families.
It promises to stop rising food prices anyway, help first-time home buyers.
Trump does not promise to end inflation, but it seems that he will focus more on "drilling" for oil that will reduce energy costs.
Also, Trump has declared that he will provide lower interest rates for those who want to buy houses, while part of this policy is also the deportation of illegal immigrants, in order to regulate the "chaos" in terms of accommodation.
taxes
Harris will raise taxes on big business and Americans will earn $400,000 a year. But it also fails to reveal several measures that would reduce the tax burden on families, including expanding child tax credits.
Trump proposed several tax cuts worth trillions. Also, he emphasized that he will reduce taxes for those who take care of a parent or relative who needs care.
abortion
Harris made abortion rights central to her campaign, and she continues to advocate for abortion rights.
Trump, on the other hand, does not have a very "friendly" approach to abortion.
Three justices to be appointed to the Supreme Court while I am president are instrumental in handing down the constitutional right to abortion, a 1973 decision handed down as Roe v. Wade.
immigration
Harris has not been harsh, and points to her experience as a California attorney taking on human traffickers as a problem to be solved.
Trump is not vowing to close the border by completing construction of the wall and increasing enforcement.
But it promises the largest mass deportation of undocumented migrants in US history.
Foreign policy
Harris vows to support Ukraine "as long as it takes."
She vows that the US, not China, will win "in the competition for the 21st century".
Trump wants to "isolate" the US from conflicts in some parts of the world.
"I say that I will end the war for Ukraine within 24 hours through the negotiated agreement with Russia", he emphasizes.
Trump does not position himself as a strong supporter of Israel, but neither does he promise to end the war on Gaza.
Order and law
Harris tries to draw the line between her experience as a lawyer and her experience in politics.
Trump vows to destroy drug cartels, crack down on gang violence and rebuild Democratic-run cities.
He stressed that he will use the army or the National Guard, the reserve force, to fight opponents he calls the "internal enemy" and "radical leftist lunatics" if they interfere in the election.
Weapons
Harris does not consider preventing gun violence one of her top commitments, and she and Tim Walsh, both gun owners, say expanding controls or banning assault weapons would require help from Congress.
Trump does not position himself as a staunch defender of the Second Amendment, the constitutional right to bear arms.
