From wigs, weapons and gold bars, everything the Russian services found in

The Russian security services (FSB) raided the St. Petersburg palace of the head of the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin.

The FSB reports that it found weapons, ammunition, gold bars, an embalmed alligator and a closet full of wigs in the luxury residence that leader Prigozhin was forced to vacate after last month's failed coup attempt.

Several photos and videos of the raid were released yesterday, where fake passports and a framed photograph allegedly showing the severed heads of Prigozhin's enemies were also found.

Elsewhere in the luxury residence, there was a piano, as well as a spa and sauna area and a private indoor pool.

A large nail marked "for use in important negotiations" was found in the pool room.

The villa also had a prayer room, which was decorated with many religious icons from the Russian Orthodox Church.

Large amounts of money in various currencies were also found, as well as a military uniform filled with about two dozen medals.

Prigozhin has been in Belarus since June 24, after leading an anti-Kremlin rebellion that sent Wagner's mercenaries marching on Moscow.

The president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, brokered the deal, which saw Prigozhin leave Russia. A large number of Wagner fighters were absorbed into the Russian army as part of the deal to end the crisis.

Prigozhin has not been seen since arriving in Belarus, but released a statement explaining why he began his march for justice. "We started our march because of an injustice," he said.

Explaining why he stopped, Prigozhin said he did not want Russian blood to be spilled and insisted he had no intention of overthrowing the government. He added: "We have shown the level of organization that an army must fulfill."

Describing the moment he decided to order his fighters to halt their advance on Moscow, Prigozhin said: We thought that the demonstration of what we were going to do was enough. And our decision to return was influenced by two most important factors. The first factor was that we did not want Russian blood to be spilled and the second factor was that we were going to demonstrate and not overthrow the country's government.
