The President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has confirmed that the head of the group "Wagner" Yevgeny Prigozhin is not in Belarus.

Lukashenko said that the leader of the Wagner group is in Russia and may be in St. Petersburg or Moscow, but definitely not on the territory of Belarus.

In a deal to end the rebellion, which was brokered by Lukashenko, Prigozhin had agreed to relocate to Belarus.

There has been much speculation about his whereabouts in recent weeks, as the mercenary leader has not been seen in public since the rebellion.
