In the video made public by " Daily Mail" , on one of the Titan's journeys, the moment appears where one of the submarine's pilots loses control of the ship, which then begins to rotate 360 degrees, while the terrified passengers waited for help.
Five passengers were 300 meters from the wreckage of the Titanic during a mission last year when pilot Scott Griffith said 'we've got a problem' - words no one wants to hear at around 12,500 meters below sea level.
Footage from inside the submersible, filmed as part of a 2022 BBC documentary, shows a worried crew listening to Griffith as he tells them something is wrong with Titan's thrusters.
The technical fault meant the diver was spinning uncontrollably in circles and was unable to move forwards and backwards. A female passenger was seen with her head in her hands as passengers endured an agonizing wait for help from the crew on board the ship.
In the documentary, which is only available to watch outside the US, a distraught Griffith told passengers: “I don't know what's going on, I feel like... I don't know what's going on. There is something wrong with my thrusters. I'm pushing and nothing is happening ."
But thankfully after help from the ship on the surface they managed to get out alive from the bottom of the ocean. The problems with the Play Station remote control seem to have been numerous and it is thought that this may have been the cause of the fatal crash a few weeks ago.
