Isar Tabatabaei Ghomsheh, a nuclear scientist and professor at Sharif University of Technology, was killed along with his wife in their home in Tehran, Iranian media reported on Saturday, without specifying the exact date of the Israeli military strike.
Ghomsheh had earned a master's degree and a doctorate in mechanical and nuclear engineering and had worked for years in Iran's nuclear sector, the Mehr news agency wrote, describing him as a "little-known but prominent figure" in the country's atomic program.
