“If Jerusalem falls, Ankara will be lost and Istanbul will burn.” This is what Devlet Bahçeli, a coalition partner of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and leader of the Nationalist Action Party (MHP), recently declared.
In a written statement, the leader of the main political body of the Grey Wolves noted, among other things, that "if Jerusalem falls, history will fall and Islam will weaken."
"If Jerusalem falls, Ankara will be lost, Istanbul will burn. No one has the right to do this. No one will be able to do this. We were forced to abandon Jerusalem a hundred years ago. But this time we will not abandon it to its fate, we must not do this. No victory is achieved without effort. We will fight, we will endure hardships, we will fight tyrants and we will not retreat even a step from our just struggle," he underlines.
Devlet Bahçeli also proposed the creation of a trilateral alliance of Turkey, Russia and China to confront the American-Israeli "alliance of evil", taking into account logic, diplomacy, geographical conditions and the strategic environment of the new century.
"Our desire and proposal is the alliance of Turkey, Russia and China (TRNC).
Despair, futility, and the inability to solve problems constitute a dead end, stagnation, and introversion in terms of action and thought.
"The Turkish people and the Turkish Republic in the new century reject despair, exclude dead ends and have driven away despair. The era of Turkey will be established with national unity and brotherhood and will be ratified with the aim of a 'Turkey without terrorism'. No hostile force and mentality will be able to prevent this predetermined course of history," he says.
