Talks between the Ukrainian and United States delegations in Berlin ended a few minutes ago.

US negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner have been invited to an evening dinner in Berlin with European leaders and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
This was confirmed by the German government spokesman. In Berlin, as guests of Chancellor Friedrich Merz, the leaders of France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Denmark, Finland, Poland, Norway, the Netherlands and Sweden are expected, as well as the presidents of the European Commission and Council and the NATO secretary general.
During the latest round of talks in Berlin, US negotiators have reportedly asked Ukraine to give up the part of the Donbas region still controlled by Kiev, a senior official familiar with the discussions told AFP.
" Putin wants territory. The Americans say Ukraine 'must withdraw', which Kiev rejects," the source told AFP. "It's quite surprising that the Americans are adopting the Russian position on this issue ," he added.
