Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel's recent attacks on Iran have severely damaged its defense capabilities.
In a first reaction to the attacks, Netanyahu said Israel had promised to respond firmly to the Iranian ballistic missile attack earlier this month.
"In the early hours of Saturday morning, we kept our promise and severely damaged Iran's defense capacity and its ability to produce missiles against us ," Netanyahu said.
Netanyahu thanked the US for coordinating and assisting with the IDF strikes on Iran, while adding that the strike achieved all of its objectives.
Biden administration officials said the US was not directly involved in the attack, but has held consultations with the Jewish state regarding the conflict.
