Recent clashes between the United States and Iran have led to a new escalation of tensions, following US attacks on an Iranian tanker and on the island of Qeshm. According to reports, these developments were followed by Tehran's retaliatory attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain.
On Wednesday, Mohsen Rezaei, a military adviser to Iran's supreme leader, warned the US that any new attack by the US would be met with missile strikes and unmanned aerial vehicles.
In a post on the social platform X, Rezaei stated that Iran will not allow the US to cross the line, whether in negotiations or in the ceasefire process.
He added that Tehran will react forcefully to any hostile action. “ The response to any shot and aggressive action will be a storm of missiles and drones ,” Rezaei said, adding that “history will not be reversed and the aggressor will be punished immediately.”
Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti military announced on Wednesday (June 3) that drones hit the T1 passenger terminal at Kuwait International Airport, causing significant damage.
A spokesman for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense called the attack “criminal Iranian aggression.” Source: quoted text in Greek.
