US President Donald Trump has stated that if a deal is reached with Iran, it will aim to prevent Tehran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
In a statement on the social network "Truth Social", Trump said that the agreement being negotiated is completely opposite to the one reached by former President Barack Obama. He stressed that no one has any idea what is being discussed and negotiated with the parties, warning citizens not to believe what they read in the media.
“If I make a deal with Iran, it will be a good and proper one, not like the one made by Obama, which gave Iran huge sums of money and a clear and open path to a nuclear weapon. Our deal is the exact opposite, but no one has seen it or knows what it is. It has not been fully negotiated yet. So don’t listen to the losers, who are critical of something they know nothing about. Unlike those before me who should have solved this problem years ago, I don’t make bad deals! President DJT ,” Trump wrote on “Truth.”
