"Iran is the heir to a civilization that is at least 6,000 years old. Through the trials of history, no power has managed to erase this historical name ," he said.
The Iranian president further added that any attempt to destroy his country is destined to fail.
"Anyone who has the illusion that they can destroy Iran knows nothing about history. The attackers have come and gone, while Iran has remained," Pezeshkian declared.
