Hundreds of Russian citizens greet every day, the former leader of the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, whom they described as a hero of Russia who gave everything for the motherland.
This weekend at his grave in St. Petersburg, his mother, Violetta, and his son, Pavel, laid flowers next to Prigozhin's grave.
Meanwhile dozens of supporters waved black Wagner flags bearing a skull and the motto "Blood, Honor, Fatherland, Courage".

In Eastern Orthodoxy, it is believed that the soul makes its final journey to heaven or hell on the 40th day after death.
At memorials in Moscow and other Russian cities, dozens of Wagner warriors and ordinary Russians paid their respects. On the other hand, the Russian state television was silent about this event.

"He can be criticized for certain events, but he was a patriot who defended the interests of the motherland in different continents. He was charismatic and most importantly, he was close to the fighters and to the people. And that's why he was became known both in Russia and abroad," said Wagner's head of recruitment in a statement on Telegram.

We recall that the private Embraer plane in which the head of the Wagner Group was traveling crashed north of Moscow, killing all 10 people on board, including two other key Wagner figures, Prigozhin's four bodyguards and a crew of three, on past.
It is still unclear what caused the plane to crash two months to the day after the mercenary chief's failed mutiny. Meanwhile, the Kremlin said investigators were looking into the possibility that the plane had been brought down on purpose.
