The vice-president of the Freedom Party, Petrit Vasili, has commented on the statement of the president of the Supreme Court, Sokol Sadushi, regarding the appeals, considering it as a call for political inquisition and anti-reform in justice.
According to him, the complete failure in the implementation of the justice reform and the flagrant violation of the citizens' right to justice within the legal terms, Sadushi proposes to patch it up with communist, arbitrary and unconstitutional political instruments.

Instead of calling for strict implementation of laws and judicial reform, the President of the Supreme Court, Sadushi, proposes unconstitutional and anti-justice actions for citizens and openly seeks to destroy the right to recourse as well as the punishment of lawyers, who exercise it in a way legal this right.
The complete failure in the implementation of the justice reform and the flagrant violation of the citizens' right to justice within the legal terms, Sadushi proposes to patch it up with communist, arbitrary and unconstitutional political instruments.
This statement is a deliberate deviation of Sadushi, and clear political behavior, completely unacceptable and in complete abuse of the mandate of the President of the Supreme Court.
Sadushi, should implement the decisions of the Constitutional Court, regarding the admissibility of appeals for delaying the processes, and not ask for fines of lawyers for filing appeals.
Unfortunately, these statements only add to the current deep distrust and great disappointment of the citizens in justice, when in an unimaginable way they come from the President of the Supreme Court, which should have been an ideal example of rigorous and uncompromising application of the law.
This statement by Sadushi openly violates several articles of the Constitution such as:
Article 42
"2. Everyone, for the protection of his constitutional and legal rights, freedoms and interests, or in the case of charges brought against him, has the right to a fair and public trial within a reasonable time by an independent court and impartial determined by law".
Article 43
"Everyone has the right to appeal against a judicial decision in a higher court, unless otherwise provided by law for minor criminal offenses, for civil or administrative matters of minor importance or value, in accordance with the conditions provided in Article 17 of the Constitution".
So, the right to refer to a higher court, Sadushi cannot prevent it because this right has its own constitutional path to reach the Constitutional Court or even the Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.
The capture of justice by the government is the mother of all this chaos of illegality and daily injustice against the citizens.
It is clear that the Justice Reform is experiencing very dark days and Sadushi's statements are a test and a bad omen for its future and its transformation into a political instrument in favor of the government's interests and its blind levers in justice against citizens and their constitutional right to equal, impartial justice, based only on the law, in a timely and professional manner.
