More than 100 people gathered at Kleber Square in Strasbourg to welcome Serbian students who set off by bicycle from Novi Sad 13 days ago to demand justice.
A red carpet has been laid out in the main square, Serbian flags are waving and demonstrators are holding various banners, mainly with the inscription "Pumpaj".

Sonja Maletic, a Serbian citizen who has been studying medicine at the University of Strasbourg for 4 years, says she is here to support her peers.
"I admire those people, my peers, for everything they have done and the only thing I can say is 'bravo'. I don't go to Serbia often, so I haven't been to the protests, but my small contribution is that I am here today," she says.

Sonja also says that she and her friends will host the students and provide them with housing while they are here.
The arrival of the students is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. Tomorrow, the students will demand justice for the victims in Novi Sad before European institutions and a 16-minute silence will be observed.

After thirteen days on bicycles, Serbian students who went to Strasbourg to seek justice reached their final destination.
Around 80 students who set off by bicycle from Novi Sad on April 3rd of this year arrived in Strasbourg, where they are waiting to be admitted to European institutions to demand justice for the 16 people killed when a train crashed into a railway station on November 1st of last year.

Their mission, as they said at the beginning, is for the world to learn the truth about Serbia, for institutions to react and put pressure on the government, to raise their voices on behalf of all those who have been silent.
Accommodation for all 80 cyclists who have covered more than 1,400 kilometers and passed through six countries has been secured in advance, thanks to Serbian citizens living in Strasbourg.

More than a hundred members of the local Serbian diaspora, as well as diasporas from Switzerland, Basel and Paris, who also came to welcome the students and offer them support, gathered to welcome the students at Gutenberg Square in the center of Strasbourg.
