Putin cut with Wagner's soldiers: If you want to stay in Russia join our army, otherwise go to Belarus

Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the citizens today about Wagner's coup attempt.

Putin said that "any kind of blackmail against Russia is doomed to failure", and that the West and Kiev wanted Russian soldiers to kill each other during this episode. On the other hand, he said that he will keep his word and those soldiers who want to go to Belarus are free to go.

"We know that the vast majority of Wagner's fighters and commanders are patriots. They were drawn to this adventure. They are heroes who fought in Bakhmut," he said.

Putin then thanked Lukashenko and asked Wagner's men to sign a voluntary contract with the Ministry of Defense, return home or move to Belarus, where camps are being set up for the private military company.
