Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the nation with a press statement about the riots that occurred two days ago in Moscow. During his speech, Putin said that the organizers of the uprising will be brought to justice and that the rebellion was a criminal activity aimed at weakening Russia.
Putin further added that the rebellion would have been crushed and that all the necessary decisions to neutralize the threat had been taken from the beginning.
The Russian despot added that the clash with Wagner was deliberately avoided because the vast majority of the private army is made up of Russian patriots and doing so would please the West and Kiev, who he said wanted Russian soldiers to kill each other. . Putin did not hesitate to thank some of Wagner's leaders who, according to him, did not agree to clash with the Russian army and decided to stop the rebellion.
Meanwhile, he added that the agreement for Wagner's members will be strictly implemented, all those who want to become part of the great Russian army can sign the contract with the Minister of Defense. As for those who reject Putin, he made it clear that they will be transferred to Belarus.
At the end of the speech, Pution thanked the Russian public for their support, Lukashenko for the peaceful solution and the Russian authorities for their tireless work.
I want to thank the people for their resistance, cohesion and patriotism. From the beginning of events, under my direct instructions, steps were taken to avoid much bloodshed. It took time, including to give those who made a mistake a chance to change their minds, [to make it] clear that their actions were strongly rejected by society and with what tragic, devastating consequences for Russia, for our country brought the adventure that they undertook.
The organizers of this rebellion will be brought to justice, this criminal activity was aimed at weakening the country. Any kind of blackmail against Russia is destined to fail, despite the many wishes for our society to be torn apart...
The vast majority of the Wagner company are patriots of Russia. I want to thank those soldiers and leaders of Wagner who avoided further bloodshed.
Today you have the option to continue serving Russia by entering into a contract with the Ministry of Defense or other law enforcement agencies, or return to your family and friends. Anyone who wants to can go to Belarus. The choice is yours, but I am sure it will be the choice of the Russian soldiers who have realized their tragic mistake ," Putin said, among other things./ Pamphlet
