Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, commenting on the European Commission's progress report for his country, stated that it has more achievements than Albania.
Mickoski said he disagrees with the statement of some European commissioners that Albania is ahead of Macedonia on the path to the EU.
He added that now, after the local elections, the government will focus on judicial reforms.
"I am extremely satisfied with the report, because it found no regression in the progress of reforms."
It must be acknowledged that there are gaps in some areas, and therefore changes are needed in the Judicial Council and the Prosecutor's Office.
However, we are ahead of Albania in achievements and reforms.
It would be better if we made the constitutional changes, and then we wouldn't have a 'veto'.
"Montenegro is first, Macedonia and Serbia in second place, and then comes Albania," Mickoski said.
