The spokesman for the Security Council of the Iranian Parliament, Abulfazl Amouei, said that if Israel attacks, then Iran will use weapons that they have not used before.
According to the "Entekhab" news site, in a statement to Al-Mayadeen television based in Lebanon, Amouei assessed the possibility of Israel's response to Iran.
Amouei said the attack his country carried out on Israel on April 13 is legal and they will respond to any attack by Israel.
"We are ready to use weapons that we have not used before. We have our plans for every scenario. Israel must act with logic," said Amouei.
On the other hand, Israel's war cabinet is expected to meet again today, to discuss decisively the response they will give to the Iranian attack.
This will be their third meeting, but they still haven't come up with a decision.
Foreign Minister Israel Katz previously said that the response will be both diplomatic and military.
The diplomatic reaction has already started, where Israel has contacted all its allies demanding the imposition of sanctions on Iran as well as the declaration of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard as a "terrorist organization".
France, Germany, Britain, Russia, the US and the UN have called for no military response.
On April 1, Israel carried out an airstrike on the Iranian consulate building in Damascus. 7 members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards, including 2 generals, lost their lives in the attack. Following the attack, Iran's top political and military leadership vowed "decisive retaliation".
On April 13, Iran launched a barrage of drones and missiles at Israel in an operation called "True Promise" that lasted several hours, igniting the already tense regional situation.
