Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has revealed that she has separated from her partner Andrea Giumbruno. Meloni has spent almost a decade with her partner while they have a 7-year-old daughter together.
Meloni made the news of her divorce public on her account on the "X" platform, where she published a photo with her and their 7-year-old daughter.
At the same time, she said that she will continue to maintain a good relationship with her ex-husband, above all for the well-being of her 7-year-old daughter.
The Prime Minister of Italy also thanked her former partner for the wonderful years together and the difficulties.
"My relationship with Andrea Giambruno, which lasted almost ten years, ends here. I thank him for the wonderful years we spent together, for the difficulties we went through and for giving me the most important thing in my life, which is our daughter Ginevra. Our paths have changed for some time and it's time to admit it.
I will protect who we were, I will protect our friendship, and I will protect, at all costs, a seven-year-old girl who loves her mother and loves her father the way I couldn't love mine. I have nothing else to say about it.
