The mayor of Energodar, Dmytro Orlov, in a comment to Radio Ukraine said that 100 employees of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant of Ukraine have left the country. He added that Russian drones and missiles over Ukraine are launched from an airport.
"It is an airport from which drones and missiles are launched over Ukraine. About 100 employees of Russia's nuclear monopoly Rosatom have left Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in the city of Energodar, currently occupied by Russia, he said.
About 6,000 plant workers are currently at Energodar, but they are not allowed to work at the plant unless they sign a contract with Rosatom, explained Orlov, who also raises the alarm in case of an explosion at the nuclear plant, because there are no shelters in the city.
"The occupiers are using the factory to blackmail the whole world," concluded Orlov. After the Russian shelling of Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region, two people lost their lives.
