White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt has shared her thoughts on today's headlines, claiming that the Epstein story is a distraction from the way Chuck Schumer and the Democrats were defeated by President Trump and the Republicans in the fight to shut down the government.
The government shutdown, the longest in US history, ended after eight Democrats defected to the other side on Sunday to vote with Republicans on a funding bill.
Trump then signed the agreement, turning it into law, in the early hours of this morning.
"It is clear that this [Epstein dossier] is another Democrat + Mainstream Media hoax, fueled by fake outrage, to distract from the President's victories. Republicans, don't be fooled. President Trump will remain focused on Making America Affordable Again ," Leavitt wrote in her post!
