US ready to attack Iran? Sends nuclear reconnaissance plane to Britain
An American WC-135R Constant Phoenix 'Nuke Sniffer' aircraft has arrived in the UK.

The US has deployed a specialized nuclear explosion detection aircraft, the WC-135R Constant Phoenix, to the UK at a time when US President Donald Trump is considering the possibility of launching a military attack on Iran.

The move was reported by the Daily Mail, which highlights that this is an extremely rare development, being the third time in 40 years that such an aircraft has been stationed at a British air base.

The WC-135R, known as the “nuclear sniffer plane,” is commonly used in areas near the Russian border to monitor radioactive contamination and suspicious nuclear activities. Its deployment to Britain is a serious indication that the United States is in advanced preparation for a military scenario, potentially involving the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Photographs published by the same media also show the presence of American commandos, who are conducting rope-dropping exercises from V-22 Osprey military aircraft, a technique used for rapid operations behind the front lines, typical of elite interventions and surprise strikes.

The developments come amid a tense diplomatic and military climate. Just days ago, Trump held coordinated meetings with senior officials from Israel and Saudi Arabia, specifically discussing possible scenarios for limited strikes on Iranian targets. These developments coincide with the increase in the US military presence in the Middle East and the reinforcement of its bases in the region.

The deployment of the WC-135R and the activity of special forces are signals that go beyond the framework of regular training or patrols. The expansion of operations in Europe, and especially in the United Kingdom, comes as part of a broader strategy of keeping NATO alliances on alert if the crisis with Iran escalates into direct confrontation.

For countries like Albania, a strong US ally and NATO member, these developments require increased strategic and diplomatic attention, to assess the potential impacts on regional security, but also on the geopolitical dynamics involving the Middle East and Southeast Europe.
