The US warns Iran: There will be serious consequences in case of an attack on Israel!

Washington has warned Iran that there will be "severe consequences" in the event of an attack against Israel.

This is what Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin declared after the threats from Tehran.

His statement comes amid rising tensions, despite President Joe Biden's call for a ceasefire in the region.

Austin also stressed that the United States will defend American partners and allies in the face of threats from Iran and will do everything to prevent any possible 'actor' from exploiting tensions or expanding the conflict.
