US Secretary Anthony Blinken announced a new $250 million military aid package for Ukraine.
This new package includes additional mine-clearing equipment, anti-aircraft missiles, artillery ammunition and more than 3 million small arms rounds, according to the statement issued by the head of US diplomacy.
"The United States, our allies and partners will stand together with Ukraine for as long as it takes," Blinken said.
The equipment will be funded by money previously approved by Congress.
More than $43 billion in US military aid has been given to Ukraine since the Russian invasion began in February 2022. President Joe Biden earlier this month asked Congress to approve an additional $24 billion in aid.
