
11 people have died and 130 others were injured in a devastating fire at an industrial plant in the Ryazan region, southeast of Moscow.
It is reported that the incident took place at the "Elastik" complex in the Shilovsky area, where it is suspected that the explosion was caused by a fire in a gunpowder factory inside the facility.
Rescue teams continued intensive work over the weekend, finding two more bodies under the rubble overnight. According to authorities, 29 of the injured are still hospitalized, some in Ryazan and others transferred for treatment in Moscow.
Three people have been rescued alive from the rubble, while investigations into the causes of the serious incident are ongoing. Local authorities have declared a day of mourning throughout the region to honor the victims.
