Following Russian President Vladimir Putin's reaction, US President Donald Trump has reacted regarding the meeting in Alaska.
US President Donald Trump has stated that after his successful meeting with Vladimir Putin in Alaska, there is a possibility of a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine.
He stressed that all parties agree that the war must end with a peaceful solution, not just a temporary ceasefire.
Trump added that Zelensky will visit the White House on Monday and a meeting between him and Putin could be arranged afterwards. According to him, this could save millions of lives.
"A great and very successful day in Alaska! The meeting with President Vladimir Putin of Russia went very well, as did a late evening call with President Zelenskyy of Ukraine and several European leaders, including the highly respected NATO Secretary General."
