Russian President Vladimir Putin apparently wants to re-educate hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian children! For several years now, Ukrainian children from the occupied territories have been re-educated in Russian military facilities.

For 2025, there are fixed quotas for each occupied region on how many children will have to be sent to Russia, as reported by the "National Defense Center" in Kiev.

Since 2022, the Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine have implemented a Kremlin plan for the "patriotic education" of Ukrainian children, which includes military training.

This is currently happening in Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions as well as in Crimea, which was annexed in 2014, where large-scale ideological influence on children and young people is taking place.

The goal is to prepare young people for service in the Russian army and to convey Russia's military ideology. Ukrainians must become pro-Putin Russians.

The "belligerent attitude towards Ukraine" is ingrained in children

One of these centers is the "Avangard" camp in Volgograd region, Russia. This "kids camp" provides intensive preparation of young people for future service in the Russian Armed Forces and aims to foster loyalty to the Russian government. The Kremlin is pursuing this strategy to gain complete control over the population of the occupied territories.

Anastasia Stepula, an expert at Ukraine's State Office for Children's Rights, told BILD that “they came to families, offered or forced them to send their children on vacation. After that, they either did not return the children or returned with some ideological bias. In these camps, work is being done to develop in the child patriotic views about Russia and a combative attitude towards Ukraine".

The scope of the Russian program may continue to grow and affect more and more people. Also in the city of Starobelsk, in the Luhansk region, it is planned to ideologically indoctrinate at least 500 children.

A total of 1.6 million children are at risk, according to expert Stepula. This category includes children aged 12 and over. The expert of the State Service of Ukraine for Children's Rights emphasized that the information about the abduction and retraining of children is "continuous and systematic". Thus, the Kremlin continues its aggressive policy and exploits the civilian population in its political games, violating all international norms. and human rights are violated.
