The number of victims in Montenegro has reached 13, caused by the gun attack by Aco Martinovic on the first day of the new year. Dejan Kokotovic from Cetinje is known to have passed away today at the Clinical Center in Podgorica as a result of the serious injuries he received on January 1 of this year at the "Velestovo" tavern in the center of the city.
This is the 13th victim of the attack by Aco Martinovic from Cetinja, who on the first day of January killed 12 people in about half an hour, among them two children.
Kokotovic was injured in the stomach, chest and head in Martinovic's attack, for which he underwent surgery the same night at the Clinical Center. Unfortunately, the doctors' efforts were in vain.
From the Clinical Center (QKKG), they said that Kokotovic showed signs of mild recovery two days ago, but after that his condition worsened.
"We regret to inform you that the patient KD (1985), admitted to the Clinical Center of Montenegro due to injuries sustained in a tragic event in the Capital of Cetinje, has passed away.
Due to severe injuries, the patient underwent the required surgical procedures. Before 48 hours, the patient showed signs of easy recovery, but after that there was a deterioration of the general condition and complications that led to an undesirable outcome ", the KKKG announcement states.
