Iran's Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) has issued a strong warning regarding the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, stating that any military presence in the area will be considered a violation of the ceasefire.
In the official statement, the IRGC emphasizes that the strait remains under full control and operates for the passage of civilian ships, in accordance with international regulations.
"The Strait of Hormuz is under intelligent control and management, open to the harmless passage of non-military vessels ," the statement said.
According to them, Iranian authorities reject the "false claims" of some foreign officials and warn that any military ship approaching this area "under any pretext or justification will be considered a violation of the ceasefire and will be dealt with harshly and decisively."
The statement comes at a time of high tensions in the region, raising concerns about a possible escalation in one of the world's most important sea routes.
