A man was arrested Monday after climbing a fence on the White House compound.
The photos showed the moment an individual, dressed in a suit and blue-tinted sunglasses, was stopped by Secret Service agents.
This happened as protesters gathered near the White House to demonstrate against the visit of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
"An individual climbed over the fence on the southeast side of the U.S. Treasury Building and was arrested by officers from the U.S. Secret Service Uniformed Division for trespassing," a Secret Service spokesperson said in a statement to DailyMail.com.
He was then transported to the Metropolitan Police Department's 2nd District for questioning.
Newsweek has contacted the White House and Secret Service for more information in an email sent outside regular business hours.
This is not the first incident where an individual has managed to climb a fence on the White House complex.
Earlier this month, the Secret Service admitted to a security breach after a member of Trump National Golf Club in Virginia carried a loaded semiautomatic handgun while Trump was at the event. The Secret Service has faced intense scrutiny over its ability to protect the president after a failed assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, when he was campaigning for a second term in the White House.

According to ABC7, USSS said officers noticed a man climbing the fence just before 5 p.m.
The photos showed demonstrators gathered near the White House to protest Netanyahu's visit. However, there is no information on whether the individual who climbed the fence was affiliated with the group.
Trump and the Israeli prime minister met at the White House on Monday morning before holding a joint news conference early in the afternoon. The pair said they had agreed on a plan to end the war in Gaza, although it was not clear whether Hamas would accept the terms. A 20-point plan to end the war and establish future governance for Gaza was released Monday ahead of the news conference.
He calls for an interim governing board led by Trump and including former British Prime Minister Tony Blair. He would not force residents to leave Gaza and calls for the war to end immediately if both sides accept it.
