The scenes in a hospital in Gaza City are chilling. Today's airstrikes created a chaotic situation with people lying on a floor covered in blood and two children at a time being treated on examination tables.
As a girl looked up at the ceiling from a table at Shifa Hospital, a boy who appeared to be unconscious lay at her feet with an IV drip in his arm and bandages wrapped around his head.
An older child and a man wearing oxygen masks lay on their backs on the floor below, while a fifth person in a brightly striped top lay on the floor nearby.
