Photos of dozens of victims in the tragic air accident in Brazil where 61 people lost their lives after the Veopassu plane crashed on Friday afternoon are published.
According to Brazilian media, among the victims is a father and his 3-year-old daughter, an elderly couple and scientists, doctors and professors.
The pilot of the plane, 35-year-old Danilo Santos Romano, who had started his career as a co-pilot on an A320 of the Avianca company. After three years in this role, he assumed the role of co-pilot on A330 aircraft for international flights.
He has been working at Voepass for the past 22 months after taking over pilot duties in July 2023.
The co-pilot was 61-year-old Humberto de Campos Alencar e Silva, who had worked for the Azul company. 28-year-old Deborah Soper Avila and 41-year-old Rubia Silva de Lima were also part of the crew.
