The rift between London and Washington is deepening...

US President Donald Trump reacted on his social network Truth Social to reports that the United Kingdom is considering sending aircraft carriers to the Middle East, stating that the United States no longer needs help.

" The United Kingdom, once our great ally - perhaps the greatest of them all - is finally seriously considering sending two aircraft carriers to the Middle East ," Trump wrote.

He addressed British Prime Minister Keir Starmer directly, adding: “ Okay, Prime Minister Starmer, we don’t need them anymore – but we will remember this. We don’t need people joining the war after we have already won!

Trump's statement comes at a time of high tension in the region, as military operations against Iran continue.

However, the British government has not announced any involvement in offensive operations. According to BBC reports, a British aircraft carrier has been placed on advanced alert in case deployment to the region is required.

London has also confirmed that it has allowed the United States to use British bases for defensive operations, aimed at preventing missile attacks from Iran.

Meanwhile, according to Sky News reporting, three American B-1 Lancer bombers landed at RAF Fairford air base in Gloucestershire during the day.

Flight data analyzed by the @DefenceGeek account, linked to the UK Defence Journal, suggests the jets may have carried out previous strikes on Iranian targets before arriving in Britain. This has not been officially confirmed.

The British Ministry of Defense stated that the US is using bases on British territory for operations aimed at preventing Iran from launching missiles in the region, emphasizing that these actions are aimed at protecting the lives of British citizens.

A fourth B-1 bomber had arrived at the same base the day before, increasing the US military presence in the United Kingdom and giving American forces the ability to launch air operations directly from British territory.

Meanwhile, the British RAF continues its activities in the region. According to British authorities, Typhoon and F-35 aircraft are conducting patrols over Jordan, Qatar and Cyprus, as part of operations to protect the interests of the United Kingdom and its allies.
