Trump: George Soros and his son must face justice
US President Donald Trump has called for criminal prosecution of George Soros and his son Alex.
In a post on the social media platform "Truth," he said they should be charged under the federal RICO law, a provision commonly used against criminal organizations. According to Trump, Soros and his son have supported "violent protests" across the US and are responsible for "great damage to the country."
" George Soros, and his wonderful, but Radical Leftist son, should be charged with RICO for their support of violent protests, and much more, across the United States of America. We will not allow these lunatics to tear America apart any further, never giving it a chance to "BREATHE" and be FREE. Soros, and his gang of psychopaths, have caused great harm to our country! That includes his crazy friends on the West Coast. Be careful, we are following you! Thank you for your attention to this matter ," he wrote!
This unusual statement comes at a time when Trump is increasing his tone against any structure perceived as part of the "globalist leftist establishment." Soros, who has been funding various movements for decades through the Open Society Foundations, has become a demonic figure for the far right around the world, often being used as a symbol for anti-Semitic conspiracies.
His son, Alexander Soros, who has taken over the foundation since 2023, is now the target of the same political attack, being described by Trump as "another radical who is manipulating American democracy behind the scenes."
Meanwhile, in Albania, this move by Trump does not go unnoticed. Prime Minister Edi Rama, a close friend of Soros and a declared ally of the American liberal right, seems to be worried. Rama has maintained a close relationship with Soros over the years, while the latter's son, Alexander, has often been photographed in meetings with Rama. It is even said that they recently met together in the South. Trump's blow is an alarm signal for those who are part of the 'Soros' clan.
On the other hand, Sali Berisha, former prime minister and leader of the radical opposition, seems to experience it as a moment of triumph. Berisha has declared Soros a personal enemy, accusing him of "capturing Albanian justice" and that he was the one who influenced the declaration of "non grata".
