Poland is shocked by the tragic death of 27-year-old Anastasia Rubinska, whose body was found naked, wrapped in a sheet in a swamp on the Greek island of Kos.
The 27-year-old of Polish origin had gone to the Greek island to work during the tourist season together with her boyfriend.
The young woman was allegedly killed by a 32-year-old man arrested by the police.
Regarding the murder of the 27-year-old, her brother also reacted through a touching post on Facebook.
“It's hard to write this… But Rest In Peace sister!!! May you be blessed and be sure that justice will be served!", wrote Adrian Rubinski in his post.
In a statement to the Greek media, in grief, the brother said that he would like a meeting with the person who allegedly killed him and to bring justice to the country himself.
"I would like ten minutes to meet this man and "finish" him myself. I certainly don't think it was an accident. I can't say anything else. Let justice be done. The people who did it should be punished as they deserve," he said.
After the body was found, police are now focusing on solving the gruesome crime, with the main suspect being a 32-year-old Bangladeshi man arrested on Saturday.
The location where Anastasja was found murdered, covered with leaves and branches, is about one kilometer from the 32-year-old's house.
Her mobile phone was also found half a kilometer away from the suspect's house, with the SIM card removed.
Greek media reported that traces of the 27-year-old's DNA were found in the suspect's home and that police investigators noticed scratch marks on the 32-year-old's body.
It is reported that the suspect told the police that he and Anastasia had sex at his house before he dropped her off at a place where her partner would pick her up.
Rubinska had arrived on the island of Kos in the Dodecanese with her Polish partner to work in a hotel in the Tigaki-Marmari area during the summer season.
She was reported missing by her partner on Tuesday, who told police that Anastasia had contacted him on Monday night to say she was drunk and shortly afterwards she texted him her exact location so he could he would go get it. But when she arrived, she found no one there and her cell phone was switched off.
The police informs that they are continuing the investigations regarding the investigation of the incident, where the 32-year-old's roommate has already been taken as a suspect.
