Greek authorities have rescued 40 migrants who were traveling to the Greek coast in a boat, and arrested a 33-year-old man on charges of human trafficking.
In Greece, the media write that the immigrants were illegal and that they were in the maritime area southeast of Lemnos, during the early hours of this morning. The illegal immigrants were transported to the port of Mytilene.
We recall that a few days ago a ship with hundreds of refugees sank off the Greek coast, where 80 migrants lost their lives as a result.
Such cases have increased a lot recently due to changes in immigration policies and non-agreements within EU countries.
