Francesca Deidda, whose body was found inside a bag, was reportedly hit with a sharp instrument on the right side of her forehead.
The 42-year-old disappeared in San Sperate on May 10 and was found dead in a bag in a village between Sinnai and San Vito.
According to the autopsy results, she had only one blow on the right side of her forehead, while no signs of violence were found.
According to the investigators, she was hit while she was sleeping and it is suspected that the incident took place on the sofa of the house.
Meanwhile, a new inspection has been requested both in the house in San Sperate where the woman lived with her husband, and in the village near "Sardinian Orientale", where the body was found.
It is suspected that the bag with the body of the 42-year-old woman was thrown from the back window of the apartment to avoid being transported from the stairs to the front of the building.
However, it has not yet been possible to determine the moment of death of Francesca Deidda.
According to the indictment, she was killed by her husband, Igor Sollai, who is in prison in Utah for manslaughter and concealing a corpse. The crime weapon, a sharp object, has not yet been found.
