More than 400 Palestinian militants have been killed in southern Israel and the Gaza Strip, and dozens more have been captured. The news was announced by the spokesman of the Israeli Army, Daniel Hagari.
In statements to "Times of Israel", he said: "So far, we are fighting in Kfar Aza, as well as we are in search operations in many other cities. Our forces are in all the cities of the country, without exception".
At least 350 people were killed in Israel and nearly 1,600 others were injured in Saturday's armed attack by Hamas. It is also reported that over 100 people were taken hostage. The Israeli state announced that it is working to take control of the territory attacked by Hamas and to release the hostages.
Meanwhile, it is carrying out bombings in Gaza.
Lebanon is also involved in this new outbreak of conflict, from where the Hezbollah militants launched several rockets in the direction of Israel. The Jewish state's response came in the same form, targeting several areas in the disputed Mount Dov region.
