Loud explosions shook Tehran again this morning, increasing uncertainty among residents who do not know whether to leave the city or stay in their homes.

According to the semi-official Iranian news agency Tasnim, several explosions were heard in the Iranian capital during the early hours of the day.

A Tehran resident, who spoke to CNN on condition of anonymity for fear of reprisals, said the attacks appeared to be hitting different areas of the city.

"The bombings are everywhere, north, south, east and west. It seems like everything is targeted ," he said.

The man said that a few nights ago he had left Tehran with his wife, who is a doctor, due to the insecurity created by the constant attacks. According to him, life in the city has become unpredictable. "I never know what or who the next target is ," he said.

Earlier, a television and radio antenna near their home had been hit, shaking the entire neighborhood.

The couple is currently settled in a small town near Damavand, Iran's highest peak. Even there, he says, the nights are accompanied by the noise of warplanes, although so far there have been no explosions in the area.

He added that many of their friends and family continue to stay in Tehran, as many residents believe that any place can be a target. According to him, leaving for the south creates fear due to the presence of foreign forces near the borders, while roads to the north risk being blocked by heavy traffic on the Chalus highway.

"A lot of people think it's better to stay where you are," he said.
