An Iranian missile has landed in Qamishli, a city in northeastern Syria, near Turkey, according to the Turkish defense ministry.
This comes as the conflict across the Middle East enters its fifth day, following US and Israeli attacks on Iran that killed the country's supreme leader.
In response, Iran has fired missiles at Israel and other neighboring countries allied with the US.
It is still unknown when the rocket fell on Qamishli.

Meanwhile, Iran's armed forces issued a statement this morning denying that they had fired a ballistic missile towards Turkey yesterday.
"We respect the territorial integrity of Turkey, it is a friendly and neighboring country," the statement said, which came almost 24 hours after reports that an Iranian missile had been fired at the Incirlik military base in Turkey and shot down by NATO.
The Turkish Defense Ministry announced yesterday that NATO forces had shot down the missile as it headed towards Turkish airspace, with the North Atlantic Alliance condemning the attack on Turkey.
Incirlik base is located in the southern part of the country, near the Mediterranean Sea. The base has long been an operations center for the US Air Force. US and Turkish Foreign Ministers Marco Rubio and Hakan Fidan also had a phone conversation on Wednesday regarding the issue.
