
A serious incident occurred on Saturday on the runway at Denver International Airport in the US, where an American Airlines plane was forced to stop immediately during takeoff after thick smoke began to come out of the lower part of the aircraft.
American Airlines confirmed that the plane had suffered a mechanical failure during takeoff, which was related to one of the plane's tires. The company also announced that all 173 passengers and 6 crew members were safely evacuated and that the aircraft was immediately handed over to the company's maintenance team.
According to official information, five people were injured and one of them was transported to the hospital for medical care.
According to flight tracking website Flightradar24.com, flight AA3023, which was scheduled to depart Denver for Miami at around 1:15 p.m. local time, was abruptly stopped on the runway due to the incident.
