The Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, has reacted after the release of three Kosovo policemen from Serbia, taking credit for the decision, which according to him came as a response to the request made in the meeting for the Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic.
Orban wrote on Twitter that Vucic has informed him that he will release the policemen. He said that this decision is "clear evidence of strategic cooperation" between Hungary and Serbia.
" Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic just informed me that in accordance with the request made at our meeting last week, the Serbian authorities will soon release from custody the three previously arrested Kosovo policemen. We highly appreciate the step of President Vucic, which he took in a period of serious challenges, and whose decision is a clear evidence of the strategic cooperation between our countries and our mutual commitment to the peace and stability of the Balkans." , wrote Orbán.
