Iran's Revolutionary Guard has issued a stern warning following the killing of Basij paramilitary force commander Gholamreza Soleimani, signaling that Tehran's response will be ongoing.
In an official statement, the IRGC stressed that it "will never give up its thirst for revenge" for the slain leaders and members, describing them as "martyrs" of the cause.
"We warn the murderers and terrorists responsible for this crime that our forces will never stop in pursuing the blood of fallen commanders and fighters," the statement said.
Iranian authorities stressed that the killing of Soleimani and other figures will not weaken their structures, but rather will increase the resolve of the forces and society.
According to the IRGC, these developments will "double the will of the Iranian nation" and the Basij forces to continue the path of resistance, at a time when tensions with Israel and its allies remain at high levels.
The statement signals a tough line from Tehran, hinting that the cycle of clashes could continue and escalate in the coming days.
